This Could Be Why Your dryer is Not Working
Dryers are great pieces of machinery. They save us so much time and hassle by quickly drying our clothes. This means that you no longer have to hang your clothes outside on the clothesline to dry anymore. Unfortunately, like all machines, dryers sometimes break. This can be frustrating. If your dryer is not starting at all, there could be some easy fixes.
In this video, you will learn three things to check for if the dryer won’t start. If none of these things seem to be the issue, please contact your trusted dryer repair professional.
The most common issue is the lever that determines whether the dryer door is closed of not. As a safety precaution, the dryer will not turn on unless the lever is being pushed down by the door. The lever is generally a little metal piece at the top right along the inside rim of the dryer. If you press it down, you should hear a click. If you don’t hear a click, this is likely your issue.
The next thing to check for is the start button. You can open up the back panel and test it using some tools. If the circuit is competed, there should be a small beep noise. If there is no beep, the start button is your problem. For more, please watch the video.
